BTM/300/1600/M/G Single Pillar Guarded Brute Bin TipperThis Guarded Brute Bin Tipper is designed to lift and tip a standard 200 Litre Brute Bin at a discharge height of 1600mm. The Guarded Brute Bin Tipper is manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel, is a welded construction throughout and is designed to be mobile on castors. The lifting is achieved by a ¾” Simplex chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column. Safety Guard to BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery GuardsThis Guarded Brute Bin Tipper was supplied complete with a safety guard to meet the guidelines of BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery Guards. The safety guard is constructed from 40 x 40 x 3mm stainless steel box section and 2.0mm stainless steel sheet. It encloses the Guarded Brute Bin Tipper to a height of 2200mm on two sides, 1600mm at the tipping position with a hinged guard door through which the bins are loaded. The guard door is electrically and mechanically interlocked preventing the Guarded Brute Bin Tipper from operating when the door is open. Additionally, the guard door can only be opened when the lift carriage is at the full down position to prevent access whilst a load is raised. Guarded Brute Bin Tipper Electrical ControlThis Guarded Brute Bin Tipper is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the main column at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). Upper and Lower end of travel limit switches are positioned to prevent inadvertent adjustment or damage but are easily adjustable by trained personnel for fine adjustment on site. The control panel incorporates the following controls; Up, Down, Guard Release, Emergency Stop and a Reset Facility. The Guarded Brute Bin Tipper operation is on a hold to run principle so that holding the ‘Up’ push button will raise the lift to the full tip position. Once the product has been discharged, holding the ‘Down’ push button once will return the Guarded Brute Bin Tipper to the full down position. The control panel has a volt free pair of contacts which can be used to connect a ‘Call to Run’ signal if required.
