BTM/300/2000/B/G Single Pillar Dump Buggy TipperThis Dump Buggy Tipper is designed to lift and tip a standard 400 lbs Dump Buggy at a discharge height of 1600mm. The Dump Buggy Tipper is manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel, is a welded construction throughout and is designed to be bolted to the floor. The lifting is achieved by a ¾” Simplex chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column. The Dump Buggy Tipper was tipping waste from a High Care Area into a chute feeding in the Low Care Area. The Waste Chute had a pneumatically operated lid which opened when the Dump Buggy Tipper began to lift with a bin location frame mounted in the Low Care side. Safety Guard to BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery GuardsThis Dump Buggy Tipper was supplied complete with a safety guard to meet the guidelines of BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery Guards. The safety guard is constructed from 40 x 40 x 3mm stainless steel box section and 2.0mm stainless steel sheet. It encloses the Dump Buggy Tipper to a height of 2200mm on two sides, 1800mm at the tipping position with a hinged guard door on the fourth side. The guard door is electrically and mechanically interlocked preventing the Dump Buggy Bin Tipper from operating when the door is open. Additionally, the guard door can only be opened when the lift carriage is at the full down position to prevent access whilst a load is raised. Dump Buggy Tipper Electrical ControlThis Dump Buggy Tipper is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the main column at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). Upper and Lower end of travel limit switches are positioned to prevent inadvertent adjustment or damage but are easily adjustable by trained personnel for fine adjustment on site. The control panel incorporates the following controls; Up, Down, Guard Release, Emergency Stop and a Reset Facility. Once an operator has loaded a Dump Buggy into the tipper and closed the guard door the Start button can be pressed. The Dump Buggy Tipper will begin to lift and in doing so will release a pneumatic limit switch that operates a pneumatic cylinder to open the chute lid. The Dump Buggy Tipper will then proceed to full tip and return to the floor automatically. When it gets back to the floor, it will remake the limit switch and close the chute lid thereby maintaining the integrity of the High Care area. The control panel has a volt free pair of contacts which can be used to connect a ‘Call to Run’ signal if required.
