Description

BTM/350/2850/B/G Single Pillar 300 Litre Bin Tipper

This 300 Litre Bin Tipper is designed to lift and tip at a discharge height of 2850mm into an intermediate transfer chute that will feed into the top of a mixer. The 300 litre bin tipper is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel, is fully TIG welded throughout and is designed to be mobile on castors. The lifting is achieved by a ¾” Duplex chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column.

Safety Guard to BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery Guards

The safety guard is constructed from 40 x 40 x 3mm stainless steel box section and 2.0mm stainless steel sheet to meet the requirements of BS EN 14120:2015 Safety of Machinery Guards. It encloses the 300 Litre Bin Tipper to a height of 3200mm on all sides, approximately 2800mm on the tipping side with a hinged guard door on the fourth side. The guard door is electrically and mechanically interlocked preventing the 300 litre bin tipper from operating when the door is open. Additionally, the guard door can only be opened when the lift carriage is at the full down position to prevent access whilst a load is raised.

300 Litre Bin Tipper Electrical Control

This 300 Litre Bin Tipper is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the main column at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). The control panel incorporates the following controls; Up, Down, Guard Release, Emergency Stop and a Reset Facility. There will be a remote push button station at the upper level with the following controls; Up, Down and Emergency Stop. The lift will rise automatically to an intermediate limit switch where control will transfer to the upper pushbutton station which will operate on a ‘dead man’s handle’ basis. The control panel has the facility for a ‘call to run’ signal to be connected if required.
